Parents in the area—especially those working nontraditional or extended hours—face consistent gaps in coverage, long waitlists, and limited programs that offer both academic enrichment and social-emotional support. This program bridges that gap by providing full-service care that supports academic growth, youth development, and family stability.
The daily schedule is designed to match real family needs. Before school, students receive breakfast, enrichment, tutoring, and structured preparation for the school day between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM. After school, youth transition into a supportive environment featuring meal service, tutoring, enrichment blocks, clubs, and sports from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Programs such as year-round tutoring, ACT prep, college and career exploration, STEM clubs, Girl and Boy Scouts, book clubs, and athletic opportunities ensure students are not just supervised—they’re growing.
Beyond daily care, the program integrates Hidden Gems’ strong community outreach tradition, including events like the Community Carnival, Back-to-School event, Trunk-or-Treat, and Christmas celebrations. Families also gain access to Hidden Gems Elevate: College, Career & Care, which provides mental health referrals, IEP/504 support, higher-education guidance, job placement partnerships, and an eight-week ACT prep course.
